Meet your local guide and commence exploring Brooklyn’s culturally rich and beautiful neighborhoods while sampling delicious foods and desserts from top-notch eateries. Visit DUMBO, one of Brooklyn’s trendiest neighborhoods, on the waterfront, where you will enjoy a slice of authentic Brooklyn Pizza from a brick oven style Italian pizzeria. Then sample chocolate truffles and rich hot chocolate at Jacques Torres’ Chocolate factory. Next we will visit Carroll Gardens where you will have the opportunity to sample Middle Eastern Pastry and explore the largest middle eastern culinary center in NYC , Sahadis. Visit antique shops and other merchants at one of Brooklyn’s most unique shopping centers. Finally visit Fort Green known as Brooklyn’s melting pot, because of a vibrant and diverse population. In Fort green you will visit a Cuban-Mexican restaurant , Habana Outpost, the first solar powered restaurant in the city, where you will enjoy traditional Mexican grilled corn or tacos. While in Fort Green, view beautiful brownstones and learn the neighborhood’s connection to the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. After our tour you will have time on your own in Brooklyn.
