Our one day adventure begins with a guided tour of Old Fort Niagara, a National Historic Landmark and State Historic site, offering a unique collection of military architecture and fortifications from the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as living history events and other programs. Next, is a tour of the Niagara Power Project Power Vista. It features over 50 interactive exhibits that invite visitors to have a hands on experience as they learn about hydro electricity and the historic role it has played in the Niagara frontier. After that, we’ll head to The Aquarium of Niagara, a popular attraction filled with a great selection of marine life, from penguins to seals, and sharks to sea lions. The next stop on our adventure is a ride on the Maid of the Mist. For more than 150 years, the Niagara Falls Maid of the Mist has taken visitors through the foaming waters beneath the falls. The journey begins at the bottom of the Observation Tower, where you’ll be provided with a souvenir rain poncho. The Maid of the Mist will then take you to the base of the American Falls and then to the basin of Horseshoe Falls, through the crashing waters and massive rock formations. This half-hour Niagara Falls tour allows you to experience firsthand the power and intensity of the falls. Our final stop will be dinner at the Hard Rock Café, boasting a grand old American style collection of memorabilia from rock legends and a classic menu that can’t be beat. After dinner, we’ll depart for home with wonderful memories of our fun filled day in Niagara Falls.
