Located in historic Essex, Oliver’s Restaurant and Tavern is preparing us a delicious lunch (entrée choices are Grilled NY Sirloin Grilled Chicken Breast, Baked Filet of Salmon or Pasta Primavera, all served with salad, vegetable, dessert, coffee, and tea). After lunch we will continue aboard the Essex Steam Train and Riverboat for a 2 hr. excursion through some of the most beautiful country in the state. We’ll travel northward from Essex Station, through the scenic towns of Deep River and Chester. Along the Connecticut River, near Deep River, you can see the undeveloped beauty of Selden Neck State Park. In the Fall, the colors of New England are truly an unforgettable site.
